Scientific Theme: Atmospheric Composition and impacts on Numerical Weather Prediction
The 6th OpenIFS User Meeting will take place at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center in Barcelona, Spain.
Meeting outline
Monday 22 May (all day) will be an introduction and training day to the OpenIFS model with lectures and hands-on exercises. This is not a separate event, it is offered as part of the complete meeting.
The scientific programme commences on Tuesday 23 May to mid-day Friday 26 May and will include invited and contributed presentations, with practical sessions using the OpenIFS/AC model in a case study related to the meeting theme.
We request that participants, if possible, should bring their own laptop to use for the computer practicals. The computer practicals will require the use of a web browser (for Jupyter Notebooks) and a WiFi Internet connection.
